remember how the monza was a boost car, with those leaf blowers?

what if they do something REAL dumb, like use a seperate motor, to ONLY spool up some turbos,...........OR PROCHARGERS. multiple prochargers.????.......... and then use THAT boost, from the seperate motor to boost the engine in the monza.?............... then they could have the engine in the monza boosted OFF IDLE to whatever ridiculous level of boost?.............. does the nhra allow you to tow a trailer through the quarter mile???.........

Its roadkill, they are going to get as much boost as they can and when that doesn’t kill the engine they are going to come up with some way to get more boost.

that monza SHOULD have a 305 at MOST from the factory, i dont think that they had put 350s in them......... so with any luck, they will push on it till it breaks. nothing of “value” lost........... be fun to see just how quick they can make it........... best guess on best time?? low 11s?

IIRC it had a 305 in it which the Dyno guy got fed up with (because it was pissing oil all over his shop) and swapped to a 350 or something like that. They then proceeded to “supercharge” it using 5 industrial leaf blowers.
